EYE LINERS

Are you looking for some information on eye liners? Are you going to use an eye liner for the first time? Then you are in the right page.

Eye liners are cosmetics that help in defining the eyes of a person. Eye liners aid in providing different aesthetic illusions to the eyes.

Do you know something? Eyeliners were used in the early civilisations like Mesopotamia as well as Ancient Egypt. The Arab women used eye liners quite often to capture the attraction of men by defining the eyes.

In 1960s, fashion designers started using the eye liner of liquid form for creating black lines which were really thick while applying the make ups.

The 20th century and 21st century saw the use of eye liners in various levels of thickness in association with the Gothic fashion. Men used eye liners for being associated with an emotional subculture as well as various lifestyles.

The eye liner may be defined clearly or smudged softly according to its structure. There are four different types of eyeliners which a person can avail from the market. Each one of these varies in their effects.

  • The liquid eye liner – This is a liquid of an opaque nature and comes in a tiny bottle. One has to apply this type of eye liner using the felt applicator or the tiny brush which can be obtained along with it. The liquid eye liner helps in the creation of a precise and sharp line.
  • The powder-based eye pencil – These are normally available as matte shades that have a dark nature.
  • The wax-based eye pencils – These are of a soft nature. Wax is used in these types of eye liners which will help in an easy application. One can obtain pale as well as intense colours in these.
  • The Kohl eyeliner – This is the soft powder eyeliner which requires a brush for its application. This is used when a person wants to have a black outline for the eyes.
