If you are passionate wine lover, when you have a holiday, the first thing you will do is to plan holiday parties. The size of these parties is influenced by the capacity of your cellar, budgets, personal preferences as well as the tastes of your guests. But then make sure that the wine list is stacked well so that you will be able t manage everything from formal dinners to platters.

Normally the eight varieties which are used for holidays include:

Ø Cabernet Sauvignon

Ø Shiraz

Ø Zinfandel

Ø Pinot Noir

Ø Chardonnay

Ø Riesling

Ø Sauvignon Blanc as well as

Ø Pinot Gris

The first four are red wines where are the latter four ones are white wines.

Here we review only three or four in detail.

The Chardonnay from Kendall Jackson’s Vintner’s Reserve is a white wine which contains a lovely combination of smoke and fruit. It is balanced and full bodied. The quality and distribution of this is really good. The wines from this manufacturer are priced reasonably.

The Sauvignon Blanc Napa valley from St. Supery is priced at $18. The palate is defined by the citrus fruits including lime, lemon as well as orange. It has many spunk – slate, earth as well as balanced acidity. It provides familiarity, vibrancy and elegance in ample to the holidays.

The Pinot Gris from Eola Hills is terrific for its flavour as well as price. The main characteristic of this white wine is its crisp apple and honeyed pears flavour.

The Cabernet Sauvignon form McManis Family Vineyard is a wow normally with all the guests in a holiday party, more specifically if the price is revealed on the bottle. The garnet-coloured red wine has lots of cherry and blackberry in its palate. The re wine has acoffee finishing and a dominant definition of the tannins, which makes it a perfect party wine.
