Mobiles Phones a Necessity or a Luxury

Even nowadays, people in many parts of the world consider the use of mobile phone as a luxury. The new mobile phone has been manufactured from white gold of 18-carat purity. This information has been confirmed by the World Records Academy. The cost this mobile phone, which for now is the most expensive phone in the world, is about £0.65 million.


The mobile phone which has been launched by the GoldVish has been named as Le Million. It has 1800 diamonds set in it. The first customer of this GoldVish phone, Le Million is a Russian business man who has gifted this to his wife.


The current world record is held by Sony Ericcson for the largest mobile. This is the W810i which has been scaled up. This stands up to 2.5 meters.


In 2007, the mobile manufacturer Motorola was in the news when a call was made from the top of the Mount Everest from a mobile phone from Motorola by Rob Baber. Motorola had sponsored this person to climb the peak.


Rob Baber made the call from height of about 8.848 meters. The batteries of the mobile phone were strapped to his body to ensure that they remained warm for calling up.
